Snmp & Snmp Traps in an Icinga Environment
The talk will give an overview over SNMP and SNMP Traps – a quick review and history of both. Even though SNMP Traps are great, they are not being used so much. The trapdirector is an Icinga Module to handle SNMP Traps. The talk will cover the story about the birth of the project, it’s architecture and use cases with examples.
