No DevOps without the Open Source Monitoring

10 years ago we started the #devopsdays. A global series of conferences that lead up to the global use of the term DevOps. DevOps was born on the crossroads of Open Source, Agile and Early Cloud adoption. Part of that Open Source influence was about the growing spike of Open Source Monitoring tools, from early days Icinga, Graphite, and many others to todays Icinga2, Prometheus and friends.

This talk will be about those influcences, about how Open Source Monitoring has been crucial for the #devops movement and how still today it is one of it’s thriving forces.
