Industrial Monitoring with Icinga
Digitalisation is currently one of the hottest topics in the industry. The processing of existing data from sensors and other machine metrics offers great potential to make existing processes more efficient and avoid expensive machine downtime. In IT, the monitoring of critical infrastructure has long been an integral part of the business.
So what could be more obvious than using existing concepts and solutions from the IT world in an industrial environment? Icinga’s open and modular architecture as well as its vibrant community makes it the ideal candidate.
Based on the experience gained from monitoring over a hundred hydrogen filling stations in Europe, I would like to show examples of what a simple and efficient monitoring solution for industrial plants can look like.
